The Visionary Leader Leadership ProgramA 3-Day Leadership Training
From Dream to Reality
"The old hierarchy is ending. Your Organization's future depends upon
leadership, trust,
and participation. The only way to build them is through vision."

Introduction
In times of rapid, pervasive change organizations need to redefine what they
are about constantly and challenge the ways they do their business and activities
in order to prosper. It is no longer possible either for a company, social organization
or a political party to retain the kind of creative and devoted people they
need unless they manage to keep its values in line with their values and their
common purpose. To succeed today, an organization needs to crate a shared vision
that expresses a cohesive purpose which incorporates shades of the many different
values of their people.
The purpose of this Workshop is to help you find a process that assists in
clarifying values, focuses missions for individuals and groups, and helps develop
the kind of vision needed to meet the new challenges it faces. When you put
forward vision with clarity, an organization can give its people the framework
they need to make decisions consistent with those shared values, to be creative,
and to act on opportunities that arise. This is the organization of tomorrow.
Many highly successful businesses promote themselves by means of a mission
statement together with a commitment to live up to the values they express.
But what are values and why must they be shared? And how do they relate to morale
and reputation? This 3-day program takes you step-by-step through the process
of writing your vision, mission statement.
As a leader, you will be judged on your ability to create and implement a coherent
vision and your ability to develop a fear-free, creative, and productive work
culture within your company or organization.
Whether you are a corporate president, group manager or a leader of a political
party or cadre, your effectiveness as a leader will be measured by your ability
to:
• Create a cohesive and inspiring vision for your organization
• Communicate that vision to your team
• Deal with people or groups who disagree fairly, and turn them into team
members
• Stick with the vision in the face of adversity
• Change the vision subtly when needed
• Continuously build participation, handle conflict, and empower employees/cadres
• Keep the vision a permanent part of the company or organization-not
a "plan of
the month."
The Objectives of this Workshop:
• To explain the process of visioning
• To explain how to define an organizational mission
• To present the psychology of visioning
• To give reasons why successful organizations have vision, values and
mission.
• To provide a case study related to visioning.
